Oxford Arms, Duke Street, Kington HR5 3DR
Open Arms Kington (OAK) was established with the aim of enlivening and regenerating our rural market town. This social enterprise is structured around The Oxford Arms, which OAK has purchased as a community asset. It has been a popular local pub for generations with a bar, restaurant and B&B. We want to maintain the Oxford as a cherished Kington “local” and venue, and make full use of the generous space it offers.

Wales & Border harness racing, also known locally as trotting, is a truly amateur sport. Most of the competitors own, train and drive their own horses. It is one of the easiest equine sports to take up, with members providing lots of help and support to newcomers as well as staging junior races for the younger members of the families who cannot wait to grow up to get involved.
