Rhosgoch Golf Club, Rhosgoch, Builth Wells LD2 3JY

This is the club’s “give back to the community” event for all the support they receive throughout the year. Refreshments, including hot chocolate, mulled wine, soup, hot dogs and jacket potatos, are free, as is the display. Donations are welcomed, however, to help towards next year’s event. The club house will be open from 5.00pm.

The Gladestry Active Community Fund has been dormant for a while, but it still has some money and we would like to revive it to help to seed more projects and activities locally. The meeting will elect a new committee and hear ideas on how to fund projects in the area. Everyone is welcome — please come if you would like to see more activities in our local community!

In partnership with the House of Dior, Mrs Harris Goes to Paris tells the story of a widowed cleaning lady in 1950s London who falls madly in love with a couture Dior dress, and decides that she must have one of her own. After she works, starves and gambles to raise the funds to pursue her dream, she embarks on an adventure to Paris which will change not only her own outlook, but the very future of the House of Dior.
