St Mary’s Church, Gladestry
Research has taken place into the fallen of two world wars from the Gladestry and Colva areas. A binder in which each of the fallen will have his story told in remembrance of his sacrifice, the finished work will be held at St Mary’s church in Gladestry. An official handover of this binder and an address by military historian Mr P C Jones will take place at this event, time to coincide with the anniversary of the D Day landings. All are welcome to attend and refreshments will be available.
