Harry’s Hut provides snug overnight accommodation in a traditional shepherd’s hut that sits in a farm paddock surrounded by the amazing scenery and glorious wildlife habitat of the rural Welsh Marches, which is also one of the UK’s most renowned dark sky zones. This setting provides our guests with a secluded and incredibly tranquil visitor experience. Besides being ideal for people travelling with pets and horses, the paddock contains a stone-built threshing barn — great for cookouts or for simply enjoying the view of the lovely Radnorshire Hills on a rainy day. There are plenty of books and board games to keep everyone in the hut occupied too.
Harry’s Hut’s accommodation offers a comfortable double bed plus a double sofabed, making it perfect for families and friends. Blackout blinds on every window ensure there’s nothing that’s going to disturb our guests’ sleep either.
The hut’s woodburning stove and oil-filled radiator guarantee a super-cosy, warm stay — even on the coldest days and nights. There’s also a nice hot shower complete with towels, a basin and a proper flushing loo in the hut’s en-suite bathroom.
Our hut’s little kitchenette features everything needed for storing, cooking and eating food. And our hens lay fresh eggs daily, which we’re happy to give you along with tea, coffee, milk and bottled water. Bon appetit!
